• I have been driven from my family home

I have Autism in the form of Aspergers and have been driven from my home having lived on a Council estate in Leeds for the past four years or so.  This took the form of people targetting the symptoms of my autism due to the fact that I started a residents…

  • RE: Just looking for some reassurance

ASD is often genetic so the fact that your eldest has it makes it more likely that your youngest has it. Did your eldest go through a change when he was a toddler? it also suggests that you or your partner may be affected. ASD is an invisible problem…

  • Low salicylate diet AKA Feingold diet

Has anyone else tried this type of diet? I came across it at the food intolerance website at fedup.com.au.

  • RE: teen angst or something else?

he is becoming more and more verbally aggressive

Sorry to hear that Allie - our thoughts are with you.

  • RE: Describe your very unique interest/passion

Ah now, envisioning utopia.... that is among my special interests. That's way I am so intrigued by the connection between Minoan culture and the Atlantis myth, and whether or not the meteor blast that destroyed the buried city at  Tall El Hammam did…

  • Could this be PTSD?

My daughters school phoned me today. The explained that she had a good day but they believe she may have PTSD. I've read up on it and it could be a possibility.

She has been through so much the last few years and it has had a massive impact on everyone…

  • RE: Advice please

There's a few things that can help the intestines - cut out dairy for a bit (the bacteria that deals with dairy is often the first to be lost after prolonged diarhoea) because the lactose ferments and causes things to move too fast - and try to cut out…
