I agree that Hamas are savages, but it is quite simply a fact that Israel has occupied the land which the UN awarded to the Palestinians and has driven them to extremism.

It doesn’t excuse murder and atrocities but it is a fact.

Hamas backed by Iran are recognized terrorist states whose openly stated efforts since the 1948 UN decision for Israel's creation, is for the elimination of it. You can go on and on with your "facts"  but when a country is surrounded by neighbours who do not want it to be there, it has no choice but  to arm itself to its teeth as a show not to be messed with.

This is exacerbated by blatantly discriminatory allocation of state resources: a recent example is the government’s Covid-19 recovery package, of which just 1.7% was given to Palestinian local authorities.'

'Since the mid-1990s Israeli authorities have imposed increasingly stringent movement restrictions on Palestinians in the OPT. A web of military checkpoints, roadblocks, fences and other structures controls the movement of Palestinians within the OPT, and restricts their travel into Israel or abroad.

A 700km fence, which Israel is still extending, has isolated Palestinian communities inside “military zones”, and they must obtain multiple special permits any time they enter or leave their homes. In Gaza, more than 2 million Palestinians live under an Israeli blockade which has created a humanitarian crisis. It is near-impossible for Gazans to travel abroad or into the rest of the OPT, and they are effectively segregated from the rest of the world.'

The “state of Israel” now seems to encompass rather more land than it was awarded by the UN in 1948

" Historical suffering" This is the exact excuse protestors in favour of the Palistinians are using to shield their lack of condemnation of the barbaric attack on thier premise of being the injured party through many years of  their terrorism sending out rocket bombardments.

" The promised land" --- NOBODY twisted the arms of all the UN members in 1948 to agree on the creation of the state of Israel (perhaps God did)

Since when did anti-semitic become so much worse than say anti-catholic in terms of it being evil? Why is one religion able to cause so much more damage to peoples reputation for labelling them as anti-semitic than say a protestant being anti-catholic?

At the end of the day I doubt anyone cares if you are Jewish, Hindu or Scientologist - behaving like an outsider in a small town society is much more likely to get you into peoples bad books in the UK.

No, you've clearly been the victim of hate crime on the grounds of religion, race, nationality and disability and have every right to be concerned.    I really would be systematically reporting this stuff to the police.

As for the for the rights/wrongs or any direct impacts of the conflict, ..maybe, I guess it could heighten tensions here, but I am not sure the racist idiots who engage in that sort of mindless vandalism are often that up to speed with either history or current affairs on anything.  I'd have guessed that's more likely to impact on the subtler racism which breeds under a veneer of hints and allusions amongst the better read who might hold a grudge against which ever side they believe are in the wrong.

Either way, this isn't paranoia on your part and you need this taking seriously.

There is prejudice everywhere my friend, all of the time, for so many things, some obvious, a lot that is not so obvious.

I absolutely do fully understand your position and pain, I know what it is like to not feel safe, I know what it is like to not feel safe in your own home and also when it drags on for years, and I know what it feels like when people are not listening or doing anything to stop it, it takes a huge toll on your mental and physical health.

I do hope you can find a solution, also some peace and respite somehow.

Yes I had reported these attacks to my property. There exists a very long history of several thousands of years supporting my anxious concerns. The UK is a fair and open society with self expression, but is not free of prejudice. (Ref: Jews Don't Count - D. Baddiel )

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. If you are being targeted for your religion or your disability, it's a hate crime. Maybe you need to report these attacks on your property, maybe you have already?I have no idea as you don't specify. 

Please don't assume that the people you are talking to have not been through far worse than what you describe in your post.

To be honest no sane person wouldn’t condemn that attack. Horrific. I’m no expert on the whole thing but I think most people can see that there are faults on both sides, and violence should always be condemned, and both sides are using violence. I’m sorry you’re feeling threatened at the moment - I hope your anxiety about this will soon ease. And I’m so sorry your car has been damaged - that’s terrible. No wonder you feel anxious. But I think most people in the U.K. will soon move on from the story - rightly or wrongly.
