My career is writing and I do a lot of it in my spare time, too. It never burns me out, quite the opposite.

There have been warmer summers, in my time. The trees and flowers help keep temperatures, here, down. Few US Cities have greenery, and that's why they're so hot.

Not everyone gains weight at the same location... When losing weight, my understanding is the last place you gained weight will be the first place you lose weight...
There are more than enough people out there that gain weight on their stomach either…
i think some form of awareness of why you get mad is likely important... for me i likely overthink things, play scenerios and bad stuff in my head over in different scenerios, get mad thoughts in my head, likely paranoid thoughts of bad things others…
I'm constantly burned out, too. Non-stop work around the house, and a kitten to manage.
I have just had to leave my job after 3 years because I am so burned out from working for people and having to socialise at work. Had many severe meltdowns and been signed off sick from work several times too.
As far as socialising outside of work though…
I can't answer that one, but share some of the fears for the long term.
