If there were fewer barriers to neurodivergent contributions, how might NDs shape the world?
I'm still trying to get my head around the fact that I work in special educational needs and am recently diagnosed. Although I feel that it does give me a unique perspective. The only things I would change…
There are no real barriers apart from the ones you create for yourself with poor decisions. If you go digging, most of aerospace, engineering, behind the scenes of the film industry, TV, architecture,…
I wanted your truth and I think I got it I guess it always comes down to control in the end. But do you feel it's more important to have self-control rather than control over others? The less sociable you are, the less you need to control others perhaps. Because daily life doesn't depend too much on the cooperation of others for needs to be met. Maybe more self-reliance is the key to peace. A bit more space. Room to roam and be wild (as in natural rather than out of control).
I would say that's good thing, you know what it's like to be different on a fundamental level like the people you work with I would assume. Gives you a unique insight.

I would start by creating NT-free zones. In the UK, we could start by having a few towns where only NDs could settle. Think of the peace and quiet! The crime rate would fall overnight.
Haha I actually wouldn't mind that
Just one or two towns... it would be like winning the lottery to be able to live and work there.
What would we call them?
Or we could name them after the first settlers there....
Yeah I like that idea
