What foods do you dislike/like.

I eat a lot of fruit. Mostly cantaloupe melon, cherries and strawberries. I like spicy chicken wings. The skin has to be crispy so I finish them in the air fryer. Steak is good. I like a ribeye  medium rare. I skip the sides.. Sharwarma is always on the nenu.

Foods I don't like are marzipan, liquorice and marshmellow. Just no.

  • Really there's a lot of things I do like I like most fruits, watermelon, cherries, raspberries, pomegranate seeds and more. And the same with most vegetables.

I love fish and sea food! mussels, clams, squid (calamari), octopus, salmon, white fish, prawns etc. it's my favourite type of meat to eat.

I tend to not like things with strong flavours (marmite, twiglets, strong chesses) and certain vegetables that to me taste like dirt (beatroots, mushrooms, potatoes and carrots with the skin on)

  • I'll eat virtually anything. I'm not keen on fatty cuts of meat and rice pudding type things but anything else if fair game. Oh and cream of tomato soup but that maybe a childhood thing, my sister used to eat it all the time and I can't even stand the smell of it.

I eat a lot of fruit but it has to be just ripe otherwise it ends up being soft and too sweet, it also can't be bashed or dented. There's a lot to be said for a cold crispy granny Smith apple.

  • Tonight in the kitchen of Edward, we have my Homemade Apple and Koppaburg Pear Cider Pie, with the usual suspect of spices, along with a little helping of Pear Cider Caramel to give it some extra zipBeerAppleGreen apple

Served with a scoop of Bailey's Ice Cream, and I think we have ourselves a nice little winter warmer Stuck out tongue winking eyeHeartGreen heart

  • I don't make mine with kidney beans as I'm not a huge fan of them, I use cannalini beans instead.

I had a taste of Chinese Lemon Chicken, it was indescribably gross, chicken in lemon curd is the best way I can describe it, why anyone would want to eat it is beyond me, let alone enjoy it, but them a lot of Chinese food to me is just pig in sharp jam.

    What counts as '..weird veg,..'

The other thing I don't like is peanuts in things, I like natural peanut butter, where it's just roasted ground peanuts and salt and nothing else. I never eat it with anything else like jam, just on it's own on toast or bread with some salad. I don't like pecans or maccadamia nuts either.

  • I was actually going to mention dead fly biscuits, (Garibaldi). Meringue is like eating polystyrene, Chelsea buns have currants in and are horrible, the buns with a cherry on are worse. I’m okay with sweet and sour as long as there’s no weird veg, it does worry me how it can practically glow in the dark. Chilli is nice but I do pick the kidney beans out. I’m with you on Mellons and mango too mushy.

  • I don't like any melons, mango's or other tropical fruit. The pastry encased squashed fly grave yards that are Eccles cakes, hard meringues where you don't know if its the meringue or your teeth that have shattered.

Then theres all the things that don't like me, such as meat, fish, dairy, swede, bananas and I have a mutual dislike, along with sweet and sour.

  • You are totally right concerning turnips, they are potato’s in disguise, until you taste them.

Semolina and tapioca puddings are vile.

Raisins are horrible, Italian is a favourite, I was in Milan and wanted to try bruschetta, but the inside of tomatoes are horrible, the chef removed all the middles and made it with just the outer part.

  • Blancmange is devils snot, horrible stuff, along with almost all other milk puddings.

I dislike all the turnip family, raddishes, cleriac, all of them disgusting.

I love Italian food, middle eastern and Indian food, but definately nothing sweet and sour, or curries with fruit like raisins in it.

  • I eat the same thing over and over again, but it changes month to month. I presently eat nothing but a combination of stilton and another blue cheese on crackers with vinegar-pickled vegetables. For a long time it was grilled cheese with bacon. Before that, I ate nothing but instant breakfast basically chocolate milk for a couple of weeks.

I'm strange, OK? It's not my fault. None of this is my fault. But everybody treats me like I committed some horrible crime that I don't even know about and they can't describe. But it's obvious to everybody else that I have to be hated and shunned.

  • Love sourdough pizza, goats cheese, nuts (all), homemade pesto (with pistachios), full fat Greek yogurt, berries and eggs are the things I eat the most of. Steak = bad texture, chicken drumsticks = bad texture, squid, mussels or clams you guessed it = bad texture, pate = bad texture and stinks, gherkins or crab sticks yuk. I could go on. Sometimes weirdly if I’m eating something I like but think of something I don’t like I can end up throwing it away, it happens if I eat omelette sometimes.

  • Bounty is just futile, you can never quite get rid of the coconut in your mouth. We have sweet tubs at Christmas, guess what’s always left?

  • I like fruit too, my favourite is peas (yes- they’re a fruit!), I’m usually open to trying different things but I guess pizza would probably be my favourite meal? Chocolate & bananas (together or apart) are two of my other favourites.
My biggest dislike is spicy foods- I don’t understand why so many people like them! Courgette is also a big no.

  • I can’t eat any seafood, baked beans, most fruit, anything with a skin on it  i.e blancmange, yogurt with bits in it, tomatoes are evil, all offal, fatty meat, tiramisu, trifle, most pulses, beetroot and broccoli.

    likes.

Cheese but not runny cheese. Processed meat such as sausages and packet ham, chips, pizza but no pineapple, nuggets, pancakes, bread,  breakfast cereal, biscuits, ice cream and gateau but no cherries in it.

  • Like spicy foods, Thai, noodles, curry. Strong Stilton. Crispy.skin off the roast chicken is the highlight of the meal. Burnt toast.

Have a strong aversion to bananas, beans, humous, avocado, amongst other things.

  • I've spent the last 10 minutes trying to find a photo that I took, but couldn't find it. It was in a hospital cafe where the ONLY chocolate bar was Bountys. I was horrified. Who eats them?!

  • I have the same dislikes as you firemonkey! Plus I don't like beetroot or bounty bars (too much coconut)

Favourites: thin crust pizza, fries, chow mein, sweet & sour, chicken wraps, lasagne, dark chocolate, snickers bars, peaches, natural yogurt & cheese.

  • In no particular order.

Like: seafood, fruit- grapes, mango, melon, cherries, strawberries, to name but a few, flavoured chicken wings and spare ribs, honey glazed ham, boiled bacon with onion sauce and pease pudding, beef dripping sandwiches, full English breakfast, lamb stew, paella, prawn korma, pancake rolls, beef and onion, various fried rice and chow mein, sweet and sour chicken/pork/prawn balls, seafood pizza, ham and pineapple pizza, sherry trifle, pea and ham soup, asparagus soup,French onion soup, bread pudding, Apple turnovers with cream, shepherds pie, fish casserole, spaghetti bolognese., medium rare steak with all the trimmings,- and so much more !

    Dislikes: broad beans,butter beans,olives,lentils,cous cous,

  • I don't like white foods. There weird and just are gross. But I like eggs so I kinda cover my eyes to eat anything white I want to eat. If its mushy I'm not interested at all. I like chicken and pasta

  • I enjoy Jaffa Cakes, That will always be at the top of my list lol. I also like Fish, Chips, Peas, Sweetcorn, Apples. Bananas, Grapes, Yougart. Hotdogs, Pizza, Chicken, onions, The list is endless

Food I don't like: cabbage, Penutbutter, tartar sauce.

  • I enjoy spicy foods. Crisps, fish & chips, both cod and haddock, curries have to be hot such as Madras, Jalfrezi or Vindaloo.  Chicken, beef.

I eat oranges, fruit juice of all kinds.

    I hate Bananas, liver, kidneys.

I like food well done, I don't want to see blood.
