Is it just me or is anybody else in to this as well?
Yeah I play games sometimes. I've played a lot of games on my PS4 and my Xbox. Not all the time but sometimes it's just nice to chill out and game for a bit.
aye blockbuster rentals were awesome and looked forward to. now you have instant blockbuster by way of netflix at a single click any time one off payment watch everything in the store. no wonder blockbuster went bust. only way it can compete with that if it made its own online platform the same fashion as netflix. but then they wouldnt be making big bucks off single titles and wont be as profitable as thy used to be.
Nice. Sounds awesome.
I’ve still got my n64 with goldeneye and Zelda
I remember going round to my friends house to play gta good times
Hey, don't knock VCR. Ain't a boomer but I remember when renting a video was a fortnightly Friday night event, at least in our house it was. Something we looked forward to. Now everything is at your fingertips 24/7 and there's nothing worth watching. There's a certain magic to old technology, the fact you have to deal with its annoying limitations is part of that imo.
Ha ha ha yes that's always awesome when that happens. You're like oh wow I remember you.
You should definitely go back to it when you can.
I've thought of going online for small stakes as well but I don't think I'm good enough for that.
But it's got an 18+ age rating. I totally wasn't playing it at that age either.
It's cool when you have multiple Sim families on a save and they randomly bump into each other out in the world.
thats modern day for ya, boomers wernt into it because in their day it was rubbish, like pong. now its advanced to the point it surpasses tv and movies and is a step beyond movies now so everyone is into it now. its the basic house hold entertainment found in every single house these days, aside from the few old gens that still stubbornly hold onto their past and refuse to update, like my dad, took him ages to go to dvd... honestly by the time they released blu ray he was only just upgrading to regular dvd players and marveling at how better it is than his vcr lol
"raises hand"
I'm good friends with my PS4.
Play lots of RPGs, massefect, cyberpunk, etc
DiffidAnt said: is this for fun, or something you'd like to sell if possible?
primarily for fun, and if it is good i may try to sell it too. anything to reduce the number of days i need to work in my current job! ;)
wing span does look lovely, i may try and get that in the future.
I had the very first gta on the amiga haha
I’m sure you’re old enough lol I was playing gta when I about 9 years old
I read an article about monopoly recently, the history of it was interesting, in terms of the initial intent of the creators being anti-capitalist, then the complex issues about the ownership of the game. From what I understand, it was actually designed to be boring.
Also, do you play by the formal rules? Such as about each property being put up for auction the first time it is landed on. After reading the article, I researched optimum strategies, which are different depending on whether or not the formal rules are followed.
Yeah destruction derby
I've seen people play some of these on line; they look great, but I don't know anyone else who likes to play. Designing your own game sounds fantastic; is this for fun, or something you'd like to sell if possible?
I've also seen educational board games, such as 'evolution' and 'wing span' that teach different aspects about biology, in addition to being beautifully designed games.
Well, you have good taste then(!) I've played through the first trilogy three times to date. Although, I struggled with Andromeda. I stopped half way through, might go back to it at some point.
With cards, I play poker (Texas hold-em) mostly, although I haven't played for a time. I go on-line for small stakes, as it's something I could become obsessed with. I don't really play other games anymore, as I don't have anyone to play with, but I like cribbage, and a few games my grandfather taught me that I don't know the proper names of.
I play the Sims 4 sometimes as well. Good game. I used to enjoy the Sims 3 as well.
