I'm just interested!
even worse I'm in London for a couple of days but i did find something to photograph that i will post once i have it off my camera
I'm impatient with cooking, myself. My own chips are edible, though I wouldn't make a career out of it.
My family is! Burnley, specifically. But I live down south
I like my chips cooked just right.
The worst I've had were:
Whereabouts are you?
Manchester is the one City in England I have affinity for; even though my Football Loyalties are mainly in London.
It's the Music. Joy Division, Magazine, the Stone Roses, the Charlatans, Oasis, Doves and Elbow.
Get Gordon Ramsay to sort them out.
down south they have expensive chippys run by stuck up snobby celebrities and their fish and chips you need to take a mortage out for loland the south cant even cook at that, everytime i went down south they always undercook food, probably again a celebrity tv inspired thing to not fully cook food. so anything down south food wise is just overpriced and undercooked.
wigans a dump lol its over priced, and landlords have really taken everything and stripped former full terraced houses into little individual bed sit/flats at full price making everything more expensive so scrounger landlords can milk everything they can out of us. and most areas are just trash here with serious chav problems. id say on google maps everything on the left side of wigan is a complete no go zone full of chavs and anti-social behaviour and violence, the upper right corners of wigan in the whelley area are ok, although ince and scholes again are trash pit areas full of scrotes... its really hard to find a decent place in wigan as its full of scrotes and they make the entire area also look visually trash too and bring it all down to a extreme poverty look and yet its so expensive youd think it was luxury houses in the lake district lol
I've always wondered whether there are proper chip shops down south. Or are there only fast-food takeaways selling french fries.

I want a chippy tea!
i know i'm going all soft down here in the warmth
I'm in Greater Manchester although it used to be Lancashire where I live. But I'm planning on moving, not sure where yet!
True. They only show up on Sundays usually. I like them though. I dream about riding on the back of a motorcycle. I went around Europe with a friend once on the back of his bike. It was fabulous.
Rivington is lovely when it's not fully of noisy motorbikes! (Sorry BJS!)
Chorley cakes are fantabulous, no denying it.
You defector, BJS!
I still use Lancashire when I write my address.
