Just my cynical jokey take on modern tourism and the impact on our wild spaces...

Anyone else got any artwork to post?
Yes, you're in the right area. Meanwood park hospital site is about a 20 minute walk from the tree house.
Is that near to where Meanwood Park Hospital used to be?
And the Empire State Building, which I posterised Andy Warhol style...
Great shots again. Love those tower blocks and the dramatic skies. That last one is like a revelation!
Here's one I took at the World Trade Center in 1989...
Happiness, freedom, beauty, perfection?!? That’s the mood I get from looking at these pictures.
I love the bottom two photos!
These are incredible!
The path is on the Meanwood valley trial. And it forms part of the dales way link.
On this section it actually cuts through people's private gardens.
There are several tree houses in this area. I wish I had grown up here as a child. Instead of a very deprived inner city with drugs and prostitution. And inner city smog.
That particular tree house has wooden steps nailed onto the tree trunk. And a trap door in the floor.
A few more dramatic effect ones. This time from the city.
I like that one, too. With the path leading off. I want to know where it goes...
It give a really wonderful glow to the warm colours - I love the look of that tree house!
The photo program has a set of art filters. Each one gives a different effect. This one is called dramatic.
I'm guessing they're unretouched. They look natural. I often use Gimp to bring subtle shades of colour to black and white photos.
I've always been fascinated by cityscapes - more so than with cities themselves. Like you, the thought of all those lives lived on top of one another. Blocks of flats hold a peculiar fascination for me.
I used to go up to the top floor landing in the evenings and stand there for ages just staring out at it all. St Paul's and the Houses of Parliament were visible in the distance, like parts of some strange mountain range.
What a striking and beautiful image. I love the train journey into London, looking at all the houses and flats and wondering who lives in them.
These are really beautiful photos - how do you achieve this effect Robert is it some kind of desaturation or chrome setting? The mood I am picking up from looking at these photos is a glimmer of hope - but reading moods isn't one of my strong points so I am probably wrong!
Great photos! I love the subtle colours showing through in the black and white. The best of both.
I regard my photography as an artwork.
This is the mood I'm in at the moment.
