I didn't expect to do one of these self-absorbed "I'm off!" posts when I joined here a few months ago, but as there's no block button on this forum it's worthwhile for my wellbeing. I'm a positive, upbeat sort of person and being on this forum with several ultra-conservative members isn't worth the hassle.

The rest of you, all the best with your endeavours!
Remember, the path to personal happiness is in the minor things. I know it's difficult with ASD, but push yourself a little bit every day, embrace creativity, culture, and make a positive impact. No matter how small, it makes a difference.
Reminder of Rule 5:
Be nice to one another and enjoy chatting with others. We encourage conversation and respectful debate; please be aware that individuals may give opinions which are not shared by other members. Insulting posts or comments making personal jibes will not be tolerated.
I hope it will be a feature that's added. I've emailed the community manager and asked if it can be added to the site so this doesn't happen.
Thank you so much! Changed it now. Thank you :)
Considering this site is targeted to autistic people, it seems very strange that there is no mechanism for us to silence those with "poor social skills".
In settings you can have friends only messaging you. Recommended.
I would like a block function. Someone randomly messaged yesterday being creepy and can't ignore the messages unfortunately.
sad. calling others abusive while being abusive ... smhThat said, a block function would be great!
That’s not very nice. It’s not nice to pick on other members of the forums. One of the rules is to be nice to other members. Maybe it would have been better if you left quietly instead of calling out other members and making them feel like sh*t. Anyway farewell.
Maybe wait and blow off some steam before deciding to leave permanently? If you act now and think later you might regret your decision.
If not then take care hope everything is ok.
