Hello everyone,
What is your favourite way to block the noise? Ear defenders? Noise cancelling headphones? earpluges? Or do you have any better suggestions?
I was in an airplane today and the engine sound was driving me crazy.
Little sis has a pair of those exactly. She loves them.
Hi, I’m another one who loves noise cancelling headphones, if you want something more discreet, have you thought about noise cancellation ear buds? When not in use they just fit in a pocket.
Noise cancelling headphones have been a lifesaver for me. I have a pair for home and a pair to carry around with me when I go out, in case of emergencies.
I see. Well, the noise cancelling headphones seem to be the most popular so I'm assuming that they are the most effective??. The thing is that I don't like to carry things on my head like glasses or headphones ext.. they seem to me like extra effort to carry them around, worry about not losing them (I'm so good at forgetting things behind), worry about them being the cause of extra injuries (like a football hitting my head then the glasses or headphones would make it more painful or dangerous). In short, I don't like carrying stuff on my face or head unless it's a helmet. So, the question is do you think that noise cancelling earbuds/noise cancelling in ear headphones are similarly effective?
Noise cancelling headphones are really handy, when out and about I have one earbud in and listen to podcasts/music.
Oh wow, it is how I imagined it:D
These
For children technically but I'm lucky my heads still small. LOL.
First time I learn about loops!. Not sure how they are different than regular headphones but I'll read about it. Thank you
Hey, what do you mean by glittery headphones?
I wear these glittery headphones. They are comfortable and block out sounds really well. If not then I'll go to my room where there's no noise or disturbance.
Hi Ree
I always use noise cancelling headphones on flights.(have done for years without actually realising why they made me feel better) For everyday places (like shops or other people filled places) I use loops.
I like wearing regular headphones for most of the day. I find that it dampens noise just enough that I don't get overwhelmed but can still hear things I need to hear like the doorbell or if someone is trying to talk to me.
