This is discrimination, and they are backpedalling to try apear to be "reasonable" because they now realised how it looks. But you are not under obligation to jump through additional hoops to secure your right for housing or anything else simply because you are autistic. They are weaponizing your kids to terrorize you into complying so their "private" stooge can can say you should be in sheltered housing and evict you so they are not responsible for you in any way because tbh they think you are a "r*t*rd" and will be more hassle to them than the rent they get from you. I would seek some kind of legal assistance on the grounds of discrimination if I were you.

Then you need to get someone else who can. And pace yourself so you don't burnout (and the SS want you to burnout and give in).

I don't know what else you want from me honestly I can only advise you how to fight. But it's you on the frontline, I cannot fight the battle for you.

You have to raise it again. And make a formal complaint that it was never followed up the first time around.

The SS think they can get away with this because they are ableist that is to say they assume you are too st*pid and weak willed to stand up for yourself. And they rely on the fact that disabled people are often medically gaslit so you will question your own validity and let them take advantage of you.

This is not a problem other minority groups have, because LGBTQ and ethnic minorities don't accept the lie that their human rights to not be discriminated against have limitations. The social services wouldn't dare pull this on a gay or Indian couple because of how it would look. They are relying on you not kicking up a big fuss about it so they can get away with trying to wear you down until you do exactly what they say regardless of whether it is in your best interests.

Shout it far and wide, log the complaint with anyone and everyone who will listen and then after you have told all the official parties put it online in social media, tag your local politician if your letter private to them is ignored. Take it to your local press even if you don't think they will be immediately interested.

The social services are also relying on you having communications problems so you won't cause a scene, if you can't talk to these people yurself get your partner to relay all the information to the appropriate people on your behalf, get friends and family if you can to also be ringing in to make complaints about the way you are being mistreated. They cannot all be ignored.

You won't protect or win your rights by going quietly into the night.

I did try this and the police just sent it back to the council saying I have raised a complaint, can they look at it. The council never did.

That is criminal you should report them as an org and more specifically the person who said that to you to the 101 police line.

No it is not allowed, discrimination is never legal. Nobody is above the law not even social services, there is protocol they must follow. Otherwise some raging racist at SS could claim "black people are inherently violent" and remove their kids without just cause. They only try to get away with it because they hope you think it is allowed.

No that is wrong. The privacy that matters should be yours, they should be perfectly happy to be transparent and have nothing to hide.
I am including a link below, I think it is worth you asking if you at least have a case to be made even if you don't feel you can afford it right now, be precise and tell this law firm all the key details you have said here.

They are a public body so have no right to this level of privacy when dealing with you.

You so need a legal representative with you - a lawyer or solicitor would be recommended, or perhaps someone from a charity who deals with disabilities.

This is a lie you were told. It is not required to report autistic people to social services just because they are autistic this is still ableist dicrimination. They should be able to say what their safeguarding concerns are without attributing it to autism based on ignorant stereotypes.
Who is this advocate for you or social services?
I think you need to record every interaction you have with them because if you don't comply it could go to court anyway but they will be the claimant and you the defendant, in which case you will be appointed a solicitor and need to be able to prove you were harrassed to jump through unecessary hoops. I also advise you never to see these people  or their assessors in person without a 3rd party witness of your choice. If they say you cannot record your own case that is suspicious and they have something to hide.
