I thought it might be nice to share our creativity.
Anything really, photography, art, writing etc etc.
Thanks to Steven for partly inspiring this thread.
Please include a visual description with any images to aid those of us with sight impairment.
Thank you.
I'll start:
fantastic! (And a bonus vampire moment)
night blooming Cerius
Thank you for the photo upload guidance. Mission accomplished!
Yeah sometimes the add a image thing doesn't show up on the screen, and sometimes it does. Hopefully using another device will solve the issue.
Thanks for your time, I’ll try on my Mac later and see if it magically appears
I'm on a Mac and using safari browser.
There is no insert for me. I’m on mobile iOS, is that why? I’m also new, do I have features disabled? Or am I missing it somehow?
Have you clicked on insert?
I can see no way to add an image All I have are formatting options?

Queen of the Night?

We have day lilies which just bloom for the one day - exquisite flowers.
Back in 2018 when I could afford holidays, we went to Madeira. We went for a walk in the hotel gardens and bumped into a couple with huge proper cameras and dressed like explorers. They told us that the flower that they were standing by only came out at night an very rarely (I have not looked into what the flower is and how rare because I'm happy thinking it is like a once-in-a-lifetime event )
I randomly thought of this because in-retrospect the person we spoke to had some of the classic signs of autism, but obviously i don't actually know.
I got a picture with my phone.
one way toe upload is to take a screen shot of your photo and it will be close to the mg limit. - renders the picture at 72 dpi.
here are screen shots of the process
0 - open the insert drop down and select image/vid..etc.
1 - go to the top and click "upload", leaving the field blank.
select your file (screen shots work best.)
3 - click okey, et viola..

nailed it, you did.
A photograph I took in the gardens of Upton House in Warwickshire in May 2024.
Looking downhill through foliage of many different colours to the pond below, with sheep on the hill in the background.

Well, we can share art, writing etc if it's not signed or printed with our names.

Not famous. Forum rules, I thought. I'm personally not actually bothered anyone knowing who I am, but I am not in a vulnerable category. So, these rules are for the best all round.
Oppressive indeed - I imagine a dystopian landscape beyond....
