I can really relate to how you feel. Your reply could have been written for me!
I have a neighbour who is noisy and I've had issues with over the years. They slam doors, have loud house parties etc. I was once off work for months due to the stress…
Hello everyone,
What is your favourite way to block the noise? Ear defenders? Noise cancelling headphones? earpluges? Or do you have any better suggestions?
I was in an airplane today and the engine sound was driving me crazy.
Do you not find them uncomfortable? I have loop earplugs and my airpods I wear a lot but I get sick of them in my ears after a while, I also don’t like proper headphones covering my ears.
also some earplugs may help with the noise or a hat can reduce the noise but again only do whats comfortable.
ask your son about swimming as well show him choices in picture form or what works for him

Get a little routine going. A warm bath or hot milky drink perhaps, a quiet activity, and then some reading before actually getting into bed. Laying there awake isn’t helpful. Lavender pillow spray might help, as well as a blackout mask and earplugs.…
I don't use ear defenders because I wear headphones a lot of the time; so, it's not practical. I do wear earplugs all the time I;'m not wearing headphones, and I find they suit my needs—and are much less obtrusive.
