Books books books

Hey there

I just finished a audiobook called Unmasking Autism by Devon Price. I really enjoyed it and this was my first experience of an audible. I struggle to read books as I find I read and then track back and read again, I struggle to concentrate and take it all in basically.

Is there a must read book that anyone can recommend for self discovering as a newly recognised autistic?

  • Untypical by Pete Wharmby. Thinking In Pictures by Temple Grandin. All Cats Are On The Autistic Spectrum by Kathy Hoopman. These are all books I have enjoyed and learned so much from.

  • Elle Middleton has one which is advertised on BBC news disability section, not sure of the name. If you haven't already, have you also considered ADHD, becuase it is common for autistic people, and reading and rereading books, lacking concentration feels like a common symptom I am not a doctor though, something you might want to check. You can also read anything by temple grandin.
