i am no longer religious, but believe there is a greater propensity for religious belief in people on the spectrum, sometimes to an unhealthy degree. anyway, for fun, was Jesus autistic?
Most knowledgeable mothers would recognise autistic traits in their young son...1. To her face, he called his mum "Woman"2. He went missing, was found debating with adults, and was annoyed that his mother wouldn't automatically know where he was3. He had a meltdown in the temple4. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of scripture
you speak of jesus like you know him well. 2000 years is a long time for the truth to be distorted.
with reference to the original post:
1) the word "woman" was not a word in jesus' native language (aramaic) - there could be a poor translation here, combined with dodgy heresay
4) anyone can have an encyclopaedic knowledge of scripture if they dedicate their life to it
anyway, as an autistic person, the biggest sign for me to suggest that maybe jesus was autistic would be how he didn't fight when they crucified him
