That sounds really nice. Might try that next time. Do you use a tin of lentils or the dried ones? I’d like this with a bit of smoked paprika
Ohhh yeah!
I will be making my carrot lentil and tomato soup this week, I ripped off the recipe from the ingredients list on the back of one of those expensive pots of fresh soups in the supermarkets.
Today I had the potato and leek soup I made last night, with fresh bread and butter, sublime it was.
No I keep it in the cupboard with the other oils, olive and rapeseed, I've found oils go a bit strange when refrigerated
Yesterday was our "No cook" Friday. (Night off cooking) We had grated carrots, tinned marrowfat processed peas (cold), avocado, tomato and walnuts.. (layered in a bowl in that order). You would hate the grated carrot and tomato combination but we like it with black pepper and balsamic vinegar.. and I added a dash of tabasco too! Do you have to keep hemp oil in the fridge to prevent it from becoming rancid?
I love a quiche, unfortunately they no longer love me.
I do have this thing though of not being able to eat carrots and tomatoes together, or tomatoes and beetroot, weird eh?
I think tonight will be a bowl of Thai red curry, in front of the telly whilst watching Strictly
If I can get my act together (along with the ingredients!), I have venison chunks to go into the slow cooker. I don't use the slow cooker often and I'm too inclined to forget something essentail - like stock. I'm also a 'throw in the herbs and spices you fancy' cook, so there's never regularity. Fingers crossed!
Me too, easy, tasty and quick. Never with beans though…
Tonight I am having fishfingers, chips and peas
I had the same last night, but with baked beans instead of peas. I love fish fingers!
Tonight I am having fishfingers, chips and peas and I have also made a leek and potato soup to have tomorrow. This is quite an achievement for me as I often end up with a bowl of cereal, or some toast.
Quiche, grated carrot, boiled potatoes, cucumber, tomato. And ginger cake with custard for pudding.
That sounds really nice, umm I did a spaghetti bolognese as I hadn't made it in a while.
