pictures of lunch. Just that simple. just pictures.. of lunch, or breakfast.. or dinner

  • Finding a good spot for lunch can be such an adventure.

  • friday lunch

slow cooker veggie medley al la Debbie's inspiration.

now Friday is veggie medley day! So easy!

  • thursday lunch

sloppy joe veggie style. salad with lime and olive oil.

  • Wednesday lunch:

chard and pepper omelet with goat milk guyere cheese, brown rice, cherry toms and sprouts.

  • Tuesday lunch

rice wiih marinara, 7 greek olives, steamed cauliflower, 3 dates.

  • would you like to add? I am getting all kinds of ideas here. Preparing food and shopping for it has always been challenging unless I find a rhythm and stick to it and a store(s) that don't intimate. I get home delivery for an online green grocer site once a week, too.

I suppose these photos are trophies of a successful hunt for me. I get a sense of accomplishment from a plate of grub.

  • I don't have any photos to add, but I enjoy seeing the photos Uhane. They look very good and well-balanced.

  • Monday lunch

Scrambled tofu with gomasio, tahini, rice, amino acid and turmeric. 2 apples and some cherry toms and a mouthful of sprouts.

  • texture is mos def a big factor. I have been vegetarian for so long I dont remember what meat tastes like. beyond burgers have a very simple ingredient list -as long as it's the one with avocado oil. I like the texture of.

  • for me it certain foods. veggies like to touch. Cherry tomatos can touch anything. hot and cold separate. sometimes I will use lots of little dishes ala japanese style.

  • That looks really healthy and tasty Uhane!

For me I don’t care if food touches each other at all, as long as cold things are separate from hot things. Is this super common not to like food touching? My thing is more about texture, I can’t stand anything slimy at all so, for example, eggs have to be fully cooked, which I know is a culinary sin. Also, I don’t like meat. Even some fake meat products weird me out if they’re too much like the real thing.

  • Sunday lunch.

beyond burger in a square, green-beans tomato, basmati rice.

  • Waitrose? sorry, lost.

  • It's Waitrose if you are in the UK.

  • yum! I have a lot of allergies too. I have a rotor of meals for the week, like, Saturday and Wednesday is 2 eggs day with rice and Swiss chard, thursday and sunday is veggies burger with steam beans etc..

I can do goat dairy, but not cow. I have it in the Am with frozen berries too. that spelt bread.. will seek out.

  • A chance to see me at my most autistic. This is my lunch every single day that I am at home (and if I can make a packed lunch)

2 slices of toasted spelt sourdough.

Grated lactofree cheese (or tuna, or chicken - variety!!)

A bag of Walkers dash of salt and vinegar (less salt and vinegar than the normal ones)

    A pink lady apple

Defrosted frozen strawberries and blueberries with 4 heaped teaspoons of lactose free greek yogurt (all the colour and sugar comes from the fruit). These are sprinkled with the contents of a gentle iron capsule and a 10 million bacteria pro biotic capsule.

I have intolerance to several FODMAP foods (virtually everything Joy). So this alongside an even more boring breakfast allows me to chance something a bit exciting for tea once or twice a week.
