I thought I'd make my own thread for this :–)
I've got a lot of CDs and have been listening to them a lot more recently.
I'm currently listening to my Disney princess CD ^^

Berlin - Take My Breath Away.
I came across this the other day which I hadn't heard for decades: Usura 'Open Your Mind' youtu.be/IE8OnOqzgZk
Kudos for getting out there and trying the experience.
Most bands I've found are better listened to at home on a bloody good 1980's style high end stereo if you can manage that. Summat with a name like Quad, or Meridian, or if you can pick the good ones out of the dross, even whafedale & cambridge audio had their moments.
Being able to say "I was there" is never worth the ticket price!
Being able to listen to my favourite band on a system that closely replicates the sound that the guy who did the sound engineering was listening to, at a time of my choosing with the people (or none) that I choose, HAS been very rewarding over the years. Except when I've had awkward neighnours, but that was very rare.
I just listened to Kasabian and Everything Everything live at Leicester. I managed it but it has cost me and I’m struggling now. Bitter sweet experience…. Maybe I’ll watch it on tv next time

Stevie Nicks-Rooms On Fire.
One of my favourites just now is "Don't Hurt Me" by The Beefeaters (a 1960s American garage group). A youtube content creator called heavenlyblueorange has made a youtube video with footage of a Diana Rigg (of Avengers fame) short film to accompany the track:
