Which way round do you display your books?

I'm talking about books stacked next to each other so the spine is vertical as opposed to on top of one another. I've realised if I put my books with the front cover upside down and facing left, the spine is easier to read. Ie the text reads from bottom to top rather than top to bottom. I find this much easier to read.

I wonder if it depends on what your first language is since some people read right to left,  some read left to right. I wonder if it depends if you're right or left handed?

I have read spines can be printed ascending or descending with one you have to *** your head left, the other, right.

Ido it like that too, probably because I spent a lot of time in library as a kid, after I discovered one at age of 10.

Also my head has a preference to tilt right, and it's painful to do it left sometimes.

It doesn't matter anymore because I had to leave all bookshelves at a previous flat, not enough space in tiny studio I rent now, so all books are in boxes.
