I’ve got a German Shepherd, Zeus from 7wks old he’s now 5+ :-)
it was a GP suggestion. I got one,. Amazing
he’s fully trained to respond to sign signals.. he still has his dangly bits and very obedient for me :-)
Him waiting for me to finish the toilet business.
One of our local Aisan corner shops has a Bombay cat and he loves the customers - the lovely Indian lady that helps to run the shop is in her 90’s and is still working there, always immaculately dressed in her Sari and has her hair tied up - the shop is like an Indian Palace and most of her children and grandchildren were born here in the U.K. - it’s like something out of the Raj and the family are Hindus, but in my 22 years living here, the family are very plugged into Irish traditions and culture, as well as U.K., as many of them have been to Ireland many times
Good choice!
Our Blackjack had all the qualities you list, PLUS he was a natural "teacher" par excellence.
-And he did some psychic stuff which really was a thing to behold..
I think that I’d like to own a pure black cat (shorthair - Bombay?) as aside from being very lucky, black cats come across as being very classy, graceful, elegant and beautiful - then again, we don’t own cats, cats own us, they have a strong sense of their own Independence and importance
Penny is a rescue. Her mom is a beagle, we're not sure what her dad is/was. We think he is/was a dachshund, but both beagles and dachshunds have short legs and Penny's legs are pretty long.
Penny getting all cozy and reading Keeper of the Lost Cities: Neverseen
Awww...
Auromon's catdog reminds me of an american bulldog (the well known child noshers) by the name of Lexi who cured me of my aversiion to dogs..
I could not believe before I met Lexi that I'd not only tolerate a huge great effing DOG parking herself as far as possible onto my lap and enjoying having her ears rubbed just like my cats do. She'd give me the same look too...
You have so many pets! I have a Catdog (actually a dog but she behaves like a cat) named Penny, a cat named Ash (her full name is Ashli Cloud [last name]), and a LOT of stuffed animals. I love them all. (:
I also have a lot pets here 3 cats a dog ang 2 goats and a horse
Even the law admits that we don't own our cats.
When we let them out, they come back voluntarily.
It's well known that many cats if they don't like where they are living, will go find a situation that suits them better.
My daughter has several cats who turn up and interact with her at her house. When I last moved into a flat, literally the first thing that happens was a big ginger cat walked in though the open door and settled himself on my lap.
As an Autist, I really value simple straight forwards relationships where everyone knows where they stand. I get that from cat's and it's a very stabilising influence for me.
I don’t have pets as such, but I do have teddy bears
Zeus is such a great name for a German Shepherd. Sounds adorable.
My first pet was a guinea pig called Piglet. She was cute and a lot of fun. She used to run round my bedroom and constantly knocked over all of my books. My current pet is a dog called Summer, she's a golden retriever, about 7 and a half now and she's a really bright friendly dog. Loves to play in the garden and chase leaves.
I have 3 cats a dog and 2 goats
Hi StephenLol - used to have fish - until Heron and Otter got to them a few years back lol!Mweekie xx
Hi PersonAnon,I can understand people who are scared of snakes and spiders. My aunt, brother and ex-fiancé are all nervous of my spiders more than they are of my snakes, but I very rarely handle them in front of people, in fact, I only ever take my tarantulas out if I am transferring them into a bigger tank or changing their soil (which I do every 6 months or so).I did have 10 tarantulas at one point, but over the years, my collection has shrunk to just the two now.I have helped children over the years get over their fears of snakes in the past though, but I only ever used Inca for that as Aztec is too much of a hot head to handle much.Mweekie xx

I was teasing in a good way. Thanks for the apology though. That means a lot.
