I see a lot of arguing going on around here so I wanted to talk about good news. Anyone can reply with some good news of their own. Hopefully this isn't too off topic!
Some of you may have noticed that I've said I live in a small, cliquey village where I'm unhappy, but we had our house valued the other day. It is worth more than we thought! So now I'm excitedly looking at new houses that we can afford! A light at the end of the tunnel! So it's good news from me.
Who else has good news?
rain has passed here,,, there is a nice calm after the storm
It was wet and thundery here today.
But my good news is that I have the opportunity to buy food tomorrow, as the contract is now a formality.
The sun was out briefly. So, i got to read outside for a bit.
Lusty Beg?
on my way to fermanagh lakelands for a while ,,,, half holiday half work
My cousin, who teaches in Dubai, is over at my uncle's for a few weeks with his wife and kids. I wanted to visit this morning, but my uncle said that he's still in bed; and I hadn't one wink all night.
He also picked a fine time to visit the Loughshore.
OMG select/case, Google is your friend, I have to look up the syntax every time, that is a nightmare, why can't they all use the same syntax!!!
Hope you're feeling better!
*wags my finger severely at you*
Though, I was bailed out on Superhero and Sci-fi questions.
Naughty Chair for me.
My team - Blokes - won the Belfast Zoom Quiz tonight; against the Birds.
I have never understood things like that. If I put loads of make up on, I only have to take it off again every night, so what is the point?
It's so lovely. Her school has done so, so well coping these last 18 months. Very, very impressed with them.
WAVE in Belfast did the same.
My daughter's school has sent a lovely video of a concert filmed by the students at home to celebrate the end of the year. Most were in isolation so they performed on their own but they are so talented
Hopefully you feel better now.
Good news!
It's 6am. I woke up and real life is nowhere near as twisted as my nightmares, where I was travelling by bus and going over a hump I somehow fell out, had only 25 minutes to find my way back to the bus, I was walking up a very very steep road whose pavement was the 70s waterproof kitchen carpet, flow something it was called, there was building work all around me, I couldn't find the right road, I was running out of time, I was panicking about the use of select/case statements in different programming languages, I could almost recognise where I was, but all the building work meant I didn't know the exact route, which roads were open? I woke up in a panic and having a temperature.
It's like my Female Buddy from Toronto I talk to online. Obsessed with make up and pedicures. :)
It is probably overstimulation and exertion. Take it easy and be gentle with yourself.
I came home relaxed, but now feel sick; with a pounding headache.
I think we are. I have a strange relationship with my mum so I try and be kinder and more consistent with my daughter.
