Introduce yourself (part one)

Hi everyone,

We thought we'd create a discussion where people can say hello and introduce themselves.

You don't have to say something here but it'd be nice to get a chance to say hello Smile

Please remember that you should not share personal details (such as emails or phone numbers) to protect your privacy.

And don't feel you have to introduce yourself, it's entirely up to you and please only share what you're comfortable with.

  • I am Mum to 3 children on the spectrum. My son who is 5 has a diagnosis of ASD, My daughter who is 12 has diagnoses of Aspergers, ADHD, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia and my oldest daughter who is 15 has a diagnosis of Aspergers and is one of the young campaigners for the NAS.

We have been through 4 tribunals and one judicial review trying to get the right education for our children and to fight to get our daughters out of mainstream school... All the battling worked as they are all statemented now and in specialist provisions and doing really well. (writing it like that made it sound really easy and it most certainly wasn't!!) Anyway, I just wanted to come in and say hi to you all :0)
