Just wondering if there are any adults on the spectrum who know of any support groups for adults with asd in Northern Ireland. I mean somewhere to meet others and have a cup of tea and engage with those whom have had some understanding of what it is like being on the spectrum.
Specialisterne at the Skainos Centre in East Belfast - more geared towards employment and social interactions.
There's an Autism place - Team Aspie - in Cookstown, but it's for kids and young Adults. However, Aspies would qualify as a disability to partake in Superstars Club and Café at the top of that town.
Autism NI as well; not too far away from the NAS place in Carryduff.
Heard of place in Cookstown but for young people? Not 40 somethings
Unless you wish to volunteer there.
