Just wondering if there are any adults on the spectrum who know of any support groups for adults with asd in Northern Ireland. I mean somewhere to meet others and have a cup of tea and engage with those whom have had some understanding of what it is like being on the spectrum.
apparently it does - i have never used them but person beside me says yes
Does the Glider stop at the CS Lewis Statue?

Name?
Shame that Jack Straw's Board Game Café went down the Swanee. It was pretty decent; I even won a round of Blockusters there. :) (insert obligatory 1990 Indie hairstyle here)
theres a cafe in east belfast that is staffed by autistic and other disabled people
I would suggest a gettogether in a Café; we can vary the venues, to liven things up.
I used to be a service user of Specialisterne; until I decided to stick with USEL. (I was forced to reveal my hand by ESF Regulations)
Unless you wish to volunteer there.
Wait until your in your 40s
is Specialisterne(belfat) placing people in employment ? at moment ? their website seems to be non functional
yes there is more for the younger ones
Heard of place in Cookstown but for young people? Not 40 somethings
Thinking more od a chill axed get together just people with a common interest in sharing thoughts sort of like this forum but at a local cafe or similar covid permitting.
Specialisterne at the Skainos Centre in East Belfast - more geared towards employment and social interactions.
There's an Autism place - Team Aspie - in Cookstown, but it's for kids and young Adults. However, Aspies would qualify as a disability to partake in Superstars Club and Café at the top of that town.
Autism NI as well; not too far away from the NAS place in Carryduff.
no from me, but there is a dungeons and dragons club in QUB
theres a NAAS drop in centre at ballymena civic centre
