I am in a caravan (week on holiday) currently watching match of the day (not my choice) with my 2 year old who won’t go to sleep! Earlier I went to Wroxham barns with my 5 year old and bought souvenirs in the gift shops, went in the animal farm part and had afternoon tea with my 5 year old. I just wondered what everyone else is doing this weekend?
I'm pretty much housebound with my maladies. However i have been lucky enough to aquire the Woodfall British Cinema boxset over christmas. I think i'll watch A Taste of Honey first. I saw Look Back In Anger on the beeb recently and loved it. I loved and identified with Richard Burton's character.
Sorry to hear that! Have you started your box set yet?
You'll probably get a couple of hundred of old notifications come through in another week or so :-)
This forum can be a bit temperamental at times, unfortunately. Usually it eventually sorts itself out. Then you suddenly get a narrator notifications that you should have got weeks/months ago!
Yes. I am finding some replies to me by accident only. When i am browsing through threads. So they are notifications that i should have got, but didn't get at all.
I have 3 ‘ghost’ notifications. That is even after I’ve checked all of my notifications, there is still a number 3 in the red notifications dot. Except that when I click on it, there are not actually any notifications to show! Also I’ve just got some notifications that had been there some time ago. Are you having trouble with them?
It's cool. I think the notifications aren't working properly actually. Are you having trouble with them at all?
Sorry I’ve only just seen this Thank you
Thanks! Happy Birthday! (belated)
Good luck with that and thank you for the link
Thank you Plastic
I will have to get myself in a place where i feel like going out more.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Taste_of_Honey_(film)
Happy Birthday! (belated)
What is A Taste of Honey about? I’ve felt ‘old’ for many years, I only turned 39 on Christmas Day! I can’t stay stuck inside though, I’m far far too restless for that!
Yeah i watched A Taste of Honey (1961). Like travelling back in time to a country i never knew. More the country of my Mum and her generation. I often feel like a man out of time. Would much rather watch A Taste Of Honey than leave my house and venture into 2019 Britain. You ever feel that way Kitsune? I'm only 37 you know.
