What’s everyone doing this weekend?

I am in a caravan (week on holiday) currently watching match of the day (not my choice) with my 2 year old who won’t go to sleep! Earlier I went to Wroxham barns with my 5 year old and bought souvenirs in the gift shops, went in the animal farm part and had afternoon tea with my 5 year old. I just wondered what everyone else is doing this weekend?

  • Another weekend!  the forecast is rain.  Currently I am sitting at work, kind of stuck, don't want to continue working but don't want to face the world and travel home.   What to do! my husband keeps texting.   Well this is a daily problem but worse on fridays where expectations are higher. The fizzy feeling is starting in my head.  Need to stim, shut down for a bit. AArgh

  • When will this rain ever stop? I hope that you survived work ok? I’m currently decompressing in my bedroom following a pleasant but busy day (visited a friend this morning with my youngest and went to hobby craft this afternoon with both my youngest and eldest) although I think that I’ve nearly got my head back on straight now!
What are your plans for the weekend?

  • When will this rain ever stop?

My guess is; when it changes into sleet and hail-storms. (sorry!)

  • The last winter that I remember being like that was back in the mid 80’s! We got sent home from school as it was too cold, the snow was coming over the top of my wellington boots on the way home as it was so deep and their were snow drifts all over our garden which made wonderful slides!
Now all we seem to get is in-between weather and rain, definitely lots of rain!

  • If we had what I would call a "proper winter", with some nice fluffy snow that hangs about long enough to go and play out in it, I really wouldn't mind at all. I really love those crisp, clear day that you sometimes get a after a big snowfall. Even up here on the edge of the Moors (about 800ft up where I am), we haven't had that for a good few years, though - boo!
