Hello All
I'm in the club with everyone else who never had a loving relationship or never found one that works for them, I had a girlfriend from school we dated for a month before it exploded in the school and ever since that I never had another one but at the stage in life where I want to start settling things down and find someone I love and join the in love club but with Autism that is very hard for because I struggle with social interaction.
For the last few years I have thought this year is the year I will fall in love with someone who understand every quark about autism but this has coming to nothing and getting more and more lonely with only a few friends and no social life.
I know there a few dating services out there which specialises in supporting people autism and other special needs along the journey of dating and finding the right person for you. I want to know is this the way you prefer date with someone to help you critical stages or do you use normal online dating services.
I have watched the Channel 4 series undateables before now found it create heartwarming when they find a match for people taking part in the show.
I have found a good looking site for me but only problem is never heard of the site before and it called My Favourite Hello and it specialise in people with Autism.
Hi I have had dogs in the past but just ready to someone esle
I'm always doubtful about dating sites like this - it's all about getting people to sign up and spend $$ with no guarantees that there is anyone near their area or even slightly compatible to them.
I go along to MeetUp events to keep me sane(ish) and I measure people - they all seem to be totally incompatible to each other.
There seems to be a disconnection from reality.
The women all think they are god's gift and want commitment and look at the shabby single blokes with disdain.
The blokes all think they are god's gift and look at the baggy single women as potential quickies with no commitment.
I think the problem gets more difficult with age as people become set in their ways so allowing another into their lives risks too much chaos.
Try a dog - they're loyal till the end. Careful though.. many humans use dog filters to imitate lovable companions.
I wish I could give you some advice but I am in the same club. Even if I did have the social skills to meet someone, I find it difficult spending a lot of time with people which makes relationships difficult. I'd be too scared to try any online dating or anything.
Good luck with your search.
Seems so... but seems expensive and the report doesn’t say how many members they have. There are some Facebook reviews as well.
Is My Favourite Hello a genuine website?
Might be worth a read. Published February 2018 but also details how their matching algorithms work.
