All-purpose biscuit thread. To dunk or not to dunk, biscuit ethics, favourite biscuits for special occasions, etc.

Split off from this thread, because it was getting too silly:https://community.autism.org.uk/f/adults-on-the-autistic-spectrum/13006/jumped-or-pushed/78331#78331
Did you know that the combination of bread and milk is just about the minimal amount of nutrients, especially animal and plant proteins, to sustain a homo sapiens at university? In my empty pocket days I was making full use of this scientific fact.
I am anxious of dunking - I am very worried about the point where the bit of the biscuit falls and splashes in the drink. So I am anxious to eat it fast, which is not fun...
Hot or cold milk?
Cloudy dunks in milk, maybe that's cold? Not sure about dunking in cocoa never tried it...
Don't try and dunk the arctic variety their wings get in the way...
What is a penguin? I want chocolate one.
No 'Cookie monster' is your alter ego.... I'm gonna start a new thread on that basis...
Sounds good to me...
Sounds good!
Guy Fieri approves!
I've just sent you a 'virtual bite', I'll take a bite myself so that it looks realistic this end :-) I use loads of dried fruit and honey. I used to cook these for for eldest when she was little and I've recycled the recipe for my litluns. They're still gooey though, just in a different way!
I use honey instead of syrup in my flapjacks so they'd mush up quickly, they're very crumbly flapjacks!!
Flapjacks like MDF tiles! Now that's not good!!!
Home bargains are good! Perhaps the manager likes to eat flapjacks while watching the solar eclipse! They should stock them all the time though! Mind you I'm sure that my flapjacks are better :-)
I've had those Apple pie cookies before, Aldi do them sometimes! They are too good!!
Actually I got a cookie pack mix in Aldi the other day to make with my 5 year old, I'll bake those with her during the week and stick a pic up here!
I wish I had a head of hair like that! If I used that as a username I'd be an imposter! I could never live up to his name!
Is that a selfie? Lol That would be a fab username. Lol
You like Italian biscuits! I've had the White Chocolate and Coconut ones. I don't like white chocolate much, but in those it works! Very rich!
Lol, they go soft! I thought those mouse droppings were raisins!
Bookworm said:I'm probably asking the wrong person though because they wouldn't get a chance to go off in your house with your biscuit fettish lol.
It's not just biscuits..........
This guy is a trusted authority of baked goods!
Have you tried Aldi's Florentines? They are lush.....
My schools Flapjacks were so skinny and dry, they were more like MDF tiles!
Fruit Hobnobs are real but rare, they only appear at solar eclipses in Home Bargains, in Flapjack form!
Not too shabby, but there is a caviar of the apple biscuit! These.......
A Home Bargains staple!
That depends if a mouse gets to them before they can go hard or soft, because they've not been sealed properly lol. Thats a good question when they do go off, if by chance the mouse hasn't eaten them, do they go hard or soft? I'm probably asking the wrong person though because they wouldn't get a chance to go off in your house with your biscuit fettish lol.
I usually chew them into mush in my mouth with a glug of milk. Hobnobs tend to disintergrate quicker, Flapjacks hold a shape because of the syrup and butter, but I just don't know! Flapjacks are confusing!
Here's a question though, if you leave Hobnobs in the cupboard with a lazy seal of the pack, do the first few Hobnobs that become soft become Flapjacks?
Flapjacks are softer than hobnobs, unless you dunk them in milk then maybe the hobnob is softer? Lol
Theres a test for you Cloudy...
