  • I dunk biscuits in tea or milk.  Don't like coffee (ever since my mum made some coffee ice cream and overdone the coffee but that is another story!)

Would not dunk in water or orange squash (or any other squash for that matter)

However, if someone had the foresight to produce 'ready dunked' biscuits that were already soggy from being dunked in tea or milk, I would not touch them.  That would not seem right at all.

I like fresh bread when I dunk it in cold milk.  Once again if someone served me up soggy bread pre-dipped in milk I would not touch it.

I won't even eat breakfast cereal if someone else pours the milk on.  .

Is this just something to do with control or does it go deeper than that?

  • Did you know that the combination of bread and milk is just about the minimal amount of nutrients, especially animal and plant proteins, to sustain a homo sapiens at university? In my empty pocket days I was making full use of this scientific fact.

I am anxious of dunking - I am very worried about the point where the bit of the biscuit falls and splashes in the drink. So I am anxious to eat it fast, which is not fun...
