I was bored and not happy here

Good Afternoon, Rachael.
Thank you for the question.
This is something unexpected.
I am not sure about the pictures.
Why would you like to see the pictures? How are they going to help? What would you like to do with them?
Hello California, Can I see your face pictures? . I will picture myself here soon.

Yes, talking to myself helps me a lot.
I am more than happy to continue our language discussion when you return.
Thank you very much!
Her profile also used to say she was born blind......

To "Rachael": ...Please write more replies. "In your own time", of course.
The more replies you write then the more interaction you may gain from them. I am not the only person to request this. And not just upon this Thread, either...

I also do not like to speak to people in person and I also like to do things alone everyday.
However, I like a little to interact electronically with people.
Then I do not feel so lonely.
Okey.
I not speak to people and I like do things alone everyday.
Good Evening Rachael,
I am sorry but I really do not remember when I started joining the forum.
I discovered the forum here and the registration process itself was quite quick.

Would you be able to clarify what you are trying to say to me, please?
Hello California , when you start joined this site ?
Good and same me.
I do not speak to many people at work.
I do not like, actually, to speak to people. I prefer to be alone and talk to myself. Then I am the most productive.
I can do so many things at the same time when I am alone, in silence and can focus.
Thank you very much recommending the website. I did not know about this website.
It will definitely help me to find out how any word is pronounced by a native speaker to help with my accent.
Even though it seems difficult, you will be making progress all the time. I often get frustrated when i have to reach for the dictionary again but i am much better than i used to be.
I was going to ask you that next actually. I know my listening and speaking skills in French are poor compared to my reading and writing skills. It depends on what you practice the most i suppose. Do you have to speak to many people for your work? A site that i find useful is this one: https://forvo.com/ because you can find out how any word is pronounced by a native speaker to help with your accent.
I have been learning English since I was 10, I guess.
But intensively only for the last 6 years.
I find it very difficult, painful and slow to learn new languages.
I think one of the reasons is that I do not talk much to people.
So, a lot of my learning comes from written material and videos in English.
You're making a lot of effort. I'm trying to improve my French and it's no easy task, but i do enjoy the process. How long have you been learning English?

It's nice that you like English so much. Do you not need to speak to your family and friends in your first language still?
Mostly, I think in English. Sometimes, I remember and think something in the old something. Then I try harder to switch to English.
I only speak to one person in the old language.
I do not like that old language.

Wow that is very harsh on a young child! How were you supposed to manage the lessons whilst learning a language at the same time?! They really had ridiculous expectations. A little empathy would have gone a long way!
