Last week I bought a 1kg packet of sugar at a city centre mainstream supermarket and at the checkout I discovered in shock that it cost 99p !!!
I felt robbed, I was sure my local shops were cheaper, mentally I ranted and ranted swearing I would never shop there again.
Today I checked my two local supermarkets, they both also sell it at 99p.
Yep.
Inflation is a nightmare here too, with some things doubling, even tripling
