Not sure if I've posted before

I think I'm new to the forum, I kind of lose track sometimes. Was privately diagnosed ASD1 two years ago and then received the NHS diagnosis last April. Turned 40 on tuesday and it is still sinking in with regards to the diagnosis and 'starting over' with respect to getting confidence back for work and generally socializing (had a breakdown 3 years ago that led to multiple admission to hosptital.... with all the fun and frollicks that was :sigh:).

Currently have a support worker from a Autism specialist service that is paid for by social services (I've been fortunate with the support I've received and I'm very thankful for it).

I hope that I can make the most of the experience in joining this forum and, yeah... hi :)

  • I do sympathise. There are too many online accounts, too many usernames and far too many passwords to remember. I lose track of it all the time. Oh dear! I am a support worker in a care home specialising in the care of autistic residents.

Forum rules say you shouldn't double post BUT that is really to stop people drawing attention to themselves by posting the same thing on more than one of the vatious threads. If you do a multiple post as a one off by mistake then you really need not worry too much. The admins are not against people who make mistakes they just object to people who deliberately flaunt the rules for their own gains. In short we all makes mistakes.

    happy posting!
