I think I'm new to the forum, I kind of lose track sometimes. Was privately diagnosed ASD1 two years ago and then received the NHS diagnosis last April. Turned 40 on tuesday and it is still sinking in with regards to the diagnosis and 'starting over' with respect to getting confidence back for work and generally socializing (had a breakdown 3 years ago that led to multiple admission to hosptital.... with all the fun and frollicks that was :sigh:).
Currently have a support worker from a Autism specialist service that is paid for by social services (I've been fortunate with the support I've received and I'm very thankful for it).
I hope that I can make the most of the experience in joining this forum and, yeah... hi :)
