Making online friends

I too have been bought up around cats and dogs. I currently have my own cat called Wanda (based off of my favourite marvel character). I don't blame you for being wary of having cats outside, I hate it too but sometimes she escapes  

I have not been to their studio in London. I was supposed to be going for my birthday earlier this year but it's been a hectic year so I've not had the chance to yet.

I don't blame you for wanting to reread the books. I haven't read them all yet myself! 

I have not seen that series but I'm not a super musical people. I enjoy music and such but I don't really watch performances etc. I may try it at some point though so thank you for the recommendation. 

Hi, I also love Harry Potter! It’s one of my New Year’s resolutions to reread all the books next year. Have you ever seen the A Very Potter Musical series on YouTube? I really recommend it 

I've been surrounded by dogs all my life, favourite animal by far. I love cats too but I'd be too worried about letting them roam around outside. I find reptiles quite interesting but I was crazy about dinosaurs as a kid, I'd even pretend to be a velociraptor when my mum would walk me to school as a young kid. My favourite breed would be border collies but they're certainly a handful. Actually, I've often heard that they're autistic which explains a lot about their behaviour. 

I do a bit of gaming here and there, currently playing through Dark Souls and I play some old PS1 games on an emulator. I don't have the specs to emulate PS2 games on it, but I love the classics. I've played Resident Evil, Siren, Dino Crisis, the first 2 Silent Hills and the Last of Us.

Love Harry Potter, have you been to seen their studio in London? 

Somehow missed this thread off. Yeah, feel free to add me Freckles. I could definitely go for chatting with people from back home while in Thailand haha. Anyways i'll throw my interests i've got right now in chat:

Animals: 

- Very big into dogs. Big bundles of joy that light up my day every time I see one that hasn't been horribly mistreated. Can't wait to get one of my own someday.

- Mostly exotic things like Elephants or Penguins I have seen in the past. I don't actively look these guys up though.

Gaming:

- Card Games like Magic, Pokemon, and Hearthstone are my main special interest i've pursued for a long time. 

- Hard games also seem to attract me for the dopamine of completing them. I think I have over 100 hours in Celeste and have nearly 115% the game, and have 115%'d Cuphead for example.

- Soothing games like Pikmin for the long flight journeys, and other story type games I may have on my Switch.

- Dungeons & Dragons is another big interest of mine. I act as a Dungeon Master for a Group of Uni Friends online once every 1-2 weeks.

Hiking: 

- This one is more of an acquired interest I am getting into after hiking around the Scottish Highlands and the jungles of Thailand over the past year. I'll probably get more appropriate gear once i'm home. 

- I also like taking pictures of cool sights I see, but I wouldn't call it an interest in itself.

I can probably think of more, but yeah this is it for the time being.

Hey there i'm pretty new to this sphere being recommended by therapist about these chat forums, i'm 30 here based down south of england - love harry potter but not superfan although i been to harry potter world studio tour which was amazing experience   dog lover even though i've never had pets.

Not a huge reader but trying to easy into habit by audio books but often have short attention span lol.

Yeah, the Discord thing is only a suggestion if you found yourself really enjoying messaging someone, and you wanted to continue it somewhere you'd be notified.

Ah nice. I mainly watch traditional TV channels really, comedy stuff. Music wise I like pop music such as Ed Sheeran, One Direction etc. 

It sounds like we have similar interests. I like dogs. I've owned a west highland terrier and have two patterdale terriers right now. The westie was my favourite, seconded only by my late uncle's akita. Now that the living definition of a gentle giant.

Video games are definitely my main hobby. I've got a chunky Steam library. I just finished with the 2016 Prey, and am looking for what my next dive will be. My favourite genres are roguelites, metroidvanias and anything Lovecraftian. Eldritch horror is the type of horror I like the best.

I've read all the mainline Harry Potter books and have been playing Hogwarts Legacy some. It's not my favourite to be honest. I like horror stories more, especially ones that dabble with madness.

If you'd like to PM chat about anything, I wouldn't mind at all.

I usually watch movies on netflix etc than actual tv channels, and I like a variety of music but don't ask me the name of artists or what the songs are called because 9 times out of 10 I wont know lmao.

Could do yes, I do have discord but don't really use it as I've had no reason to, which is why I mentioned the private messaging on here.

I'd been doing this e.g. email and social media Like Facebook. 

A suggestion would be if you began chatting with anyone in private message and it was going well, you could suggest moving the conversation to a different platform (e.g. email, Discord).

We've talked about gaming. Do you watch television/like music?

I guess in my case, I'm actively looking for people who live nearby (West Midlands). ️
