Hello everyone, I have had mental health issues for many years and have recently been referred for an ASD assessment which could take up to 12 months. I have been encouraged by family to join a forum to look for like minded individuals.
I am a lover of family outings, the arts,.cinema, guitar orientated music, fishing and snooker.
I am glad I found this forum and hope it can give me some understanding about myself and who I am
Thanks all.
And have a BA hons degree in Film Studies, so a lover of photography and cinema aswell.
Fellow drummer, have not played in many years, no where to put the kit anymore. Not so good at the singing though. Gotta love the rock/metal, cant live without the rock. Yea, its taking me 20months in total to find out, struggling on.
I enjoy karaoke, singing, photography, drumming, wrestling, learning about things like brands etc
Took well over 3 years for me. Hope it doesn't take long for you. Welcome! Also big rock/metal fan here
I'm looking to learn more about ASD as well. I hope you learn everything you want to. There's lots to read online, I've already read so much about ASD online. It's a good place to start.
Thanks, yea it was initially a 20 month wait and I am now at the 12 month mark.
I'm also looking to learn more about ASD and open myself up a little i suppose.
This community forum seems quite good.

And yes, BBC sounds is a brilliant app. 'Uncanny' was a brilliant listen.
Thanks, if you enjoy snooker but can't get to a hall, I am obsessed with an online snooker game by 'flyordie'. Very realistic in terms of graphics and playability. Highly recommend it.
Welcome to the forum
I enjoy arts and crafts, photography, reading, word puzzle books, watching snooker, and listening to music on the BBC Sounds app.
