Hi. I'm not great at intros so I'll make this short. I have ASD, my daughter does as well she's 3 and a half now. I like to write, my main ambition is to be an author. I like music and my fav band is Take That. Hi!
It's all completely overwhelming at the moment, I've got more work coming in, but my head is simply obsessing over this (as we all know so well happens). I don't know whether to accept additional workload or lose potential future customers by giving myself some breathing space.
Hey Matilda welcome to the NAS. It's a beautiful community I hope you will enjoy it.
Wonderful. Kids books are amazing. There are books I read growing up which I still love and books that I read to my kids which I enjoy almost as much (or sometimes more than) them.
Children's usually that's where my imagination can go anywhere
Great goals. What genre do you usually write your fiction in?
I've never been but I hear Wales is nice to visit. I don't travel much I'm too anxious and my daughter doesn't like new places.
I had a short break in Wales which saw gardens and places. 51 guests were too much for me. Really felt tired.
I expect it will. It can be eye opening reading the report after, it was for me and my family. Remember to take your time with this, there's no rush give it time to sink in and process. So happy for you x
Not yet, I hope the report offers some clarity, so far I just have 'you are' from the last assessment meeting. So I'm reflecting on the past and how things might have been different if I had known. I'm hoping the report may help me refocus on the future.
Hi Alan, welcome here. Congrats on the diagnosis, hopefully it's all starting to make sense now. Xx
Hi Rosy, welcome. I love Devon such a lovely place to be. I went on holiday a lot there as a child.
This could be a great thread.

Hi, Mimi, thank you. I like to write stories mostly but also like doing reports and essays on things I am interested in. My main goal is to have fun and second is to write a novel.
Hello, Mariusz, cool name!

Me too! :P
I agree it's easy to spot when they are this young. As soon as I saw it in my little one I got the wheels of the diagnosis in motion. It's lovely that you want to talk about this with your younger sister. Her son is lucky to have such a kind and loving uncle.
Have a nice day xx
Hi
I like concise :D
My youngest sister's elder son is 3,5 y.o. and I strongly suspect he is autistic as well, But I haven't told his parents or him. I'm not sure how to breach the topic.
I'm certain you'll agree it is so visible in 3.5y.o kids
Hi there and welcome. What type of stuff do you like to write?
Hi Debbie thank you xx
Aw thank you xx
Welcome.
