Zoom Councelling Sessions

Hello. I have an adult relative with Asperger's.  He feels he might  benefit from some Zoom counselling sessions but we have not been able to find out anything about these.  Has anybody had any experience of Zoom sessions?  The NHS will not provide contact details of specialist counsellors so we are stuck.  I hope other people find it easier to navigate the system...Thanks.

    • Identify type of counselling required or desired
    • Do a Google search for counsellors specialising in that type of therapy
    • Approach those counsellors directly for private treatment. Request sessions are done remotely via video call using one of many platforms such as Teams or Zoom.
    • If cannot go privately then instead of step above go to GP equipped with this list of relevant counsellors and ask for a referral via the NHS.

Follow these steps and it will be straightforward.

To use video conferencing on eg Teams or Zoom you will need a computer, tablet, or smart phone with the installed software. Google how to install these if you are unsure.

    Good luck.
