Hi all, I'm Zoe. I've only recently found out it is likely that I am autistic. I have been referred by my GP to be diagnosed and in the meantime I am coming to terms with that and hoping to understand the way I am a bit better. I have already spoken to some of you on these forums and, as one member rightly guessed, I have been feeling a little cautious and nervous about joining in but so far so good I think...
My title is something I read recently about it being easier to describe how you are feeling as if it were the weather. For me, it is currently foggy as I'm not sure what lies ahead for me at the moment (at least there aren't any thunderstorms).
Hello Zoe welcome I’m recently diagnosed with autism as well it’s quite a lot to get used to but each day it gets better. As for the weather it get quite stormy in here.
Hi Simon, perhaps we are in the same-ish boat then (or a train as the above comments suggest). For me it's been interesting recognising why I have these characteristics and understanding why I have these quirks.
Yes I find myself remembering things thinking that’s why that happened.
