Hi all, I'm Zoe. I've only recently found out it is likely that I am autistic. I have been referred by my GP to be diagnosed and in the meantime I am coming to terms with that and hoping to understand the way I am a bit better. I have already spoken to some of you on these forums and, as one member rightly guessed, I have been feeling a little cautious and nervous about joining in but so far so good I think...
My title is something I read recently about it being easier to describe how you are feeling as if it were the weather. For me, it is currently foggy as I'm not sure what lies ahead for me at the moment (at least there aren't any thunderstorms).
absolutely true
This thread is crossing over with Aidies humour discission. How says aspies can't enjoy themselves
Sorry!

These puns are getting more and more corny.
Freddie Mercury is in my head. He's saying something... 'I want to break free...' Oh!
good, i have achieved something today, nothing beats having Freddie Mercury in your head
If I had an Alexa I reckon she'd start ignoring me too... I have always wanted to ask a friend's Alexa to play a random song at a specific time in the future as a joke. E.g. Alexa, play Greenday 'Wake me up when September ends' on October 1st at 00.01.
my alexa is getting deaf she sometimes just ignores me
And now that tune is in my head...
I think it's persistent coughing not replying, right?
ok it been a while
I can't get it out of my head will need to get alexa to play it for me

I keep replying to myself what is going on
Seriously though I am begin inning to see light at the end if the tunnel. Having spent 2 years running away from asperger's diagnosis to acpetance and finding like minded people to talk to is such a relief even if it is on a forum
