Newbie Today

Just joined this website today as when i was in my late teenage years i got diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome but now am in my late 20's, I am hoping to find people with similar interests to myself and have sent a pen pal advert to get placed in the spectrum nas magazine that comes out every few months.

My interests are playing video games on my Nintendo Switch such as Animal Crossing New Horrizons, Overcooked, Racing games such as Mario Kart and many many more games but it would take me a while to mention them all, I also have a PS4 but hardly play it but i do enjoy playing the sims 4 on my gaming pc too.

I am a huge animal lover and recently got two new puppies so they are keeping me very busy for sure! I enjoy baking when i get the time and am in the mood to bake too, I enjoy doing arts/crafts such as Hama/Perler Beads, Adult colouring books and drawing too, I enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles as well but haven't done some for a while. I'm a huge Disney fan from collecting the merchandise, watching the films and visiting the theme parks too. I also enjoy going to the theatre as well and spend way to much time watching videos on Youtube too.

  • Welcome aboard!

I'm an old fart but I'm a huge Disney fan too - we visit Florida every year and hit the parks hard - always there for rope drop.    I only buy merch. that performs a function - a pen, mugs, clothes, watch etc.       Which parks to you like?

  • Best time of the day is park drop to start a great day at the theme parks, my favourite park has to be Magic Kingdom or Epcot for sure! I understand i end up with too many pens, clothes ect but it is all so adorable and i need it!

  • I love Epcot and the Animal Kingdom - we did the Flights of Passage lots of times last time.      We go in late February when the queues are the shortest and it's not too hot.

My wife & daughter have the robotic banshees that sit on your shoulder - chatting to the staff there, they say they sell over a thousand of them every day!

  • I'm sorry to hear that :(

I have to agree ride of the resistance looks amazing!!!

  • I *need* to ride the Rise of the Resistance in the Studios - it looks amazing.  We were planning on going in March 2021 for mine and my daughter's birthdays, but the covid thing has put at least a year's delay in all of the Disney construction projects - so everything that was supposed to be open now won't be ready until late next year - we're thinking that it might be 2023 before it's actually all ready to go again,      Unfortunately, I'm seriously ill so I'm not sure I'll be able to get back there now.

  • Yeah i can't wait for the Ratatoullie ride as i love that film! Wow that is interesting to know! Thanks for the fact :)

  • I'm looking forward to the new Guardians of the Galaxy and Ratatouille rides coming at Epcot.       The Banshees each come in a box that's about 80cm x 15cm x 30cm - and if they sell 1000 per day!   That's almost a massive lorry load of just those being sold every day!
