Hello I'm Bubbles.
I'm struggling with different things to do with ASD and I'm hoping you can help. I keep getting stomach pain but not sure if it's anxiety or not. I'm also struggling with being a young adult now because there's zero support and I don't know how to get support anymore.
Welcome!x
buscopan can help with stomach anxiety if necessary but always consult with gp before using it or its your food intake i felt like this & found ou i was lactose intolorent so hat all needs to be considered.
I understand your frustration with lack of support that all depends on the area u are in to be honest as well
Hi Former Member,
I am sorry to hear that you have been struggling at the moment. You may like to contact our Transition Support service, who offers advice, support and information to young autistic people aged 14 years plus and their parents or carers on the transition to adulthood.
If you would like to contact the Transition Support service you can reach them on 0808 800 0027. Please leave a message on their answering service and they will call you back. Alternatively you can send a message to the team via web form: http://www.autism.org.uk/services/helplines/transition-support/transition-support-enquiry.aspx
You may also like to contact our Autism Helpline team who can provide you with information and advice . You can contact the team via telephone on 0808 800 4104 (Monday to Thursday 10am to 4pm, Friday 9am to 3pm). Please note that the Helpline is experiencing a high volume of calls and it may take a couple of attempts before you get through to speak to an advisor. Hello and welcome.
Thanks for your support I was here a few years ago when I was struggling at school. It looks different but I'm feeling the support and love that I did before.
Thank you!
Thanks aidie I gave them a call and I now have an appointment booked with my gp tomorrow morning. Thank you, I'm going to see who is in my local area who can help me. Thanks
Welcome to the forum here.
There is support from us here on the forum at least in terms of listening and hearing/knowing where you're kind of coming from.
It's quite a good place hear to share some things that are perhaps harder to share with others, and here there are likely to be people who know and appreciate some of what one is talking about.
Plus some of the people on here know an awful lot and can signpost/direct to different support resources that might be worth trying.
Hi Bubbles,
Sorry to hear you have stomach pain. Best thing is to ring the NHS and see what they say

As for being alone without support The only thing I can suggest is to contact your local NAS office for possible groups you can join / attend. Other than that try facebook for some groups in your area eg search for "North London Austistic". Sorry I couldnt be of more help
