So are you OK with the NAS forums for the moment? I'm wondering whether with your sensory problems whether you can access it through a phone.

  • No, I am good person only and I am good to everyone here .

  • If you want to contact the moderators, you can try emailing communitymanager@nas.org.uk. They may just say it's up to you, but to be cautious - see rules 2 & 10.

It's not phishing. Phishing is imitating a trusted organisation in order to trick people into providing passwords.

California - if someone wants to contact you by other means, you may want to check what information you give out that way. For instance on Facebook, depending on your privacy settings, friending someone may show people your timeline, friend list, email address or other contact details. Personally, I don't see much security risk merely in connecting via social media with one stranger (the biggest risk I can think of is from the friend list although any communication channel can be used as a scam). This would be a rather inefficient way to scam someone.

Rachael - can I ask what your favourite way to chat with people is, and why? Do you not like the NAS forums because they are provided by the NAS?

  • not a good practice to publish private conversations

...YES I know that, else I would have Quoted what you said. My main point was to apologise, and to ask about contacting the "Moderators" about this business. I really am sorry that I cannot help you or give any better advice... and it is getting late, now.

Please take care with whatever you do.
