Hi, I wonder has anyone experienced it. I cannot figure it out. When I am very overwhelmed sometimes I can get like this cold feeling around me like it is trying to help me return to a normal state. I have had hypersensitivity reactions since childhood and I remember when I watched something scary on day time tv about 10 I got goosebumps and was unwell and I think that I felt cold as well. I cannot make it out.
Have you ever felt something like this. I am level 2 for sensory.

It sounds like adrenaline is causing the blood to be drawn away from your skin and diverted to the muscles & brain as part of the fight or flight response.
It is detailed here: https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/articles/22611-epinephrine-adrenaline
specifically:
Skin: Skin turns pale as blood vessels receive a signal to divert blood to areas more in need of your blood’s oxygen, such as your muscles, so you can fight or run away.
Thank you Iain, I think that this makes sense to me.
