What would you choose?
I'd choose compassion and kindness mixed and give it out freely
I think they are intertwined.
Compassion is an inward thing, that needs to be there for kindness, an outward thing, to be available to give to others.
Compassion for and kindness to oneself is also important so I think we should gift it to ourselves too.
Oh I read that as selfishness instead if selflessness and I was like Wait what?? lol
.....trust you to peep up again!
I'm autistic. Missing the other persons point in favory of some more intresting alternative interpritation of what they've said is part of my 'thing.' That said if some one sent me an orgasm in a bottle I'd certainly find it uplifting :P
ah, but part of the point of this place is that we weird and wonderful folk see points in all different directions and conceptions. Up lifting is often around the next corner, but it would get very bland if we could all only see "happy place" points of reference in every thread. Roll with it shooting star.
I think you are missing the point, this was meant to be a positive uplifting thread
~ I always like your threads.
It’s incredibly difficult to imagine bottling something intangible. How do you bottle freedom? What happens when you pull the cork? Every anxiety causing issue was immediately resolved by magic? All of those irritating people who stand in the way of you being able to go where you want to do what you want suddenly cease to exist?
The same thing goes for kindness. Whos the definition of kindness? I’m sure a lot of people whose definition of kindness is shut up and go make my dinner.
it’s a bit like giving someone a genies lamp with three wishes. What they wish for for their own selves might be horrific for other people.
it’s easier to imagine bottling sensations or experiences. You could imagine bottled relaxation. Bottled pleasure. Pull The cork take one sniff instant orgasm.
Selflessness - which would end greed, wars, hatred etc.
I'd take a large glass of it myself too.
I would agree, compassion and kindness but would also add understanding
Reasonableness.
At the risk of sounding like a bohemian hippie, I'm inclined to say peace and love.
Peace in the sense of world peace, but also in the sense of peace for anxious minds full of ruminating thoughts, and peace for those with sensory issues that are triggered by sounds.
Love because I think we all deserve to give and receive love, in whatever way it is expressed and experienced.
Id give that feeling like the end of a tv series, when everything is just perfect. The feeling of just calm maturity from past pain but no longer haunted from it. And knowing that someone loves you and that its okay to love yourself. Thats what the end of series feel like to me and I want everyone to have that
Hope
Think I put this elsewhere, but every year other half says "what do you want for Xmas" and I say "World peace". He says "that's what you said last year" and I say "yeah, but I didn't get it yet.."
I would go for hugs as well. A hug a day keeps the bad stuff away.
Cave Troll.
World peace
Not just for christmas x
I would bottle hugs ️
