I go a bit bananas on a full moon
I realised this decades ago - I become pretty hyper and it's been pointed out to me by others.
I know that there is a suspected correlation between state of mind and the moon - hence the word 'lunacy'.
Does anyone else experience this?
......I'm trying to be more of a trickle these days....but to no avail today !!
Awww thanks Debbie. I'm a little more of a lurker than I was when I do stop by, and it's always lovely to see you, Number, Sparkly, and many others still reassuringly around. I'll try not to be a stranger, but without becoming as relentlessly ubiquitous as I once was!

Several posts in one sitting actually.
Things are looking up
Welcome back Shardovan
Up here for thinking, down there for dancin'.
I see what you did there Thanks!
I discovered the following article, which dates back to 2013:
https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20131029-does-a-full-moon-make-people-mad
The conclusion I've come to is that I don't need a full moon to turn me into a lunatic.
As far as I know, full moons have never contributed to me being more of a lunatic than I usually am. In addition, I've never spotted any werewolves lurking outside, or indeed turned into one... yet!
The only thing I can be sure of is that I think there is something wonderful about seeing a full moon.
A welcome sight for tired eyes......a post from you!
Personally no, but I stood in awe of one of the clearest crispiest full moons I’ve seen this year earlier. The conditions are so clear. Seeing such detail with the unassisted eye is always breathtaking.
Pegg I am impatiently waiting for your next art contribution.
A Sunday sketch, inspired by talking about the moon on another thread - 3 Good Things, maybe?
Anyway, there goes a bit more blue!
I love the Creative thread, always hoping others will want to post their creations there - although I will, too, as it comes along.
I think aliens should be included too.

I think we all do. We are around 60% water. The moon has a slight gravitational pull, greater at the full and new phases. When it's directly over an area we get high tides thereby. So our bodies also feel those high tides.
Thank you
Welcome back!
And let's not forget Rocketman by Elton John.

Good to see you back too
Yes, the Living Years is a wonderful song but just too painful to listen to more than once every few years. It was written from the heart.

Seconded.

Emphatically.
So true.
