Just seen this at the top of the page (shows on a PC) and the 10 day old thread has been updated
The National Autistic Society will be performing essential maintenance on the 3rd of November at 9.00am. This will mean the online community website will be unavailable for most of the day. Please see this thread for more information.

My notifications don't seem to work at all :(
Nothing appears to have changed for me, but my notification e-mail settings are set to only send them when I receive personal messages. As the last time I received one was before 3rd November, it's impossible for me to know if my notification e-mails have been affected.
However, since joining the NAS Community last year, I've been aware the notification e-mails have been somewhat hit-and-miss for other members.
Mine haven't come through for a long time
Same! I wondered what was happening when they suddenly stopped coming through. Kind of relived that it isn't just me.
Update: It would appear that something was done on the 3rd November, as the email notification function seems to have broken.
For the past couple of days I haven't been receiving any notification emails for replies to the threads I'm subscribed to. The last one I received was on the 3rd around 9am.
Anyone else?
Yeah I wonder what has been fixed
I don't think there has been any noticeable outage today, the same as every other day when we have had that warning saying the site would be unavailable for most of the day.
It would appear that whatever they were planning hasn't worked for some reason and that's why it keeps getting postponed.
It doesn't seem to have helped. Nothing's working still. I don't know what the essential maintenance was!
And yes, it does seem strange. Especially considering it's 11:04 now and there's no sign of it being unavailable or anything!
I thought that too. I had hoped it'd fix some of the technical issues like notifications but nothing.
Thanks Debbie, I hadn't noticed that.

The spam filter is eating my posts.
I hope it won't be down for too long I rely on this forum in so many ways :(
Really? I thought this had been done a while ago I vaguely remember our good friend Charlene posting to ask what we will all do while it's down? Strange. Stranger that the mods haven't said anything either they usually put posts out the day before.
