Overheard someone a few days ago use the word neurocrash instead of meltdown. I just wanted to share it, the description to me makes more sense and is a better description of how it feels.
neurocrash
It's quite a dramatic term.... so it fits well.
When is a meltdown NOT dramatic?

When you hold it in and it turns into a shutdown - staring into space for 3 hours
I hate that it's almost like being in a coma where time doesn't appear to move and you can't feel anything.
This happens to me I think it's where your brain is trying to process everything but can't quite manage it so it freezes everything while it tries to figure out what to do. My granddaughters and daughter are the same as me in that regard.
