Thinking of going private now

I had a call with my GP with going right to choose she agreed and said she sent the referral but the right to choose people have not received the referral and I emailed my GP surgery they insisting they sent it so I'm contemplating on just going private whatever the result maybe.

    There is a huge amount of backlog since 2020. Letters do get lost in the post. The referral is a 5 year waiting list. I was diagnosed 20 years ago.

    Going private is risky. I saw a program about people getting missed diagnosed with ADHD. I knew someone got missed diagnosed with coeliac.
