Those with autism often struggle to pronounce words (or regularly mispronounce them) What is this called?
do you remember back in 1999 when half the population seemed to have a hard time pronouncing millennium? it really amused me that others made pronunciation errors too
I don't generally have this, though I have started to notice that I stammer a lot or repeat words as my brain is buffering. Maybe they same root cause for both phenomena: a slower upload time for retrieved phrases/words in the back of one's mind.
One word I do have trouble with is 'Library' - not convenient as I work in one. Or as I call it 10% of the time a Libary and 40% of the time a libry
I've no idea but I used to do this as lot as a child and no matter how much I tried I just couldn't remember it or get it right. I now do it deliberately like saying k-nives and k-forks, spag-hetty, whater and I call lemonade illuminati (don't ask me why!)
