I feel naive after all this. For a second I did get terrified a d started to research to find the truth. I guess that I believe whatever is told to me. Am I exceptionally naive or is it an autistic common trait?

Likely neither, unfortunately people who speak or type with utter confidence can latch onto a part of you that is anxious and rely on your anxiety to make their claim seem more credible. Especially if you are a bit too used to seeking second opinions on things to help you make up your mind on things.

It's not your fault eitherway though, concern trolls are often very skilled at that form of manipulation whether it's to get something from people or just wind them up for their sick idea of fun.

I and others who don't fall for it have usually seen it all before many times so know what we are looking at when we see it. So less naivety and maybe just lack of experience maybe. Don't need to be harsh on yourself for it though.
